The Rusk County Livestock project welcomes you to the 45th annual Rusk County Livestock Auction and our 1st ever online auction. Due to COVID-19 the Rusk County Livestock project had to change things up to hold an auction for our project members. With the services of Hansen and Young Auction, Inc we are bringing the auction to our buyers online.
The youth will be showcasing 47 high quality beef, sheep, swine and goat from the Rusk County Jr. Fair. Our youth have worked hard all year raising some top quality animals for you to buy. Final weights of animal will be posted prior to start of the auction on August 6 at 10:00 AM. All animals are subject to a minimum weight of Swine 230 lbs, Dairy Steers 1200 lbs, Beef Steers 1125 lbs, Sheep 110 lbs and Goats 65 lbs.
Bidding will open August 6, at 10:00 and will end with a soft close starting at 2:00 pm Sunday August 9, 2020.
All payments can be made by check or money order to Rusk County Livestock Project. They can be mailed to Rusk Co Livestock Project at 311 Miner Ave E Suite S140 Ladysmith, WI 54848 or dropped off at Chippewa Valley Bank in Bruce, WI with Jessica Wiles.
All animals will be processed at Conrath Quality Meats in Conrath, WI. They can be contacted for cutting instructions by online at www.conrathqualitymeats.com, e-mailing conrathqualitymeats@gmail.com or calling 715-532-5063 on Monday August 10, 2020. All animals will be confirmed to be paid for before meat can be picked up.
